Possible Causes
Leak from sump seal, Split inlet hose, Loose hose clamp, Cracked circulation pump housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and turn off the water supply immediately to prevent further leakage.
- Check for visible leaks: Look around the base of the dishwasher and under the kick panel for water. Mop up any standing water.
- Inspect base tray float switch: Remove the lower front panel or side panel to access the base tray. If water is present, the float switch will have activated. Carefully sponge out all water and dry the area thoroughly.
- Identify leak source: Run a short fill cycle with the panels off while observing (use a torch). Look for drips from the sump gasket, hoses, circulation pump, or inlet valve connections.
- Tighten or replace components: Tighten loose hose clamps, replace cracked hoses, and reseat the sump seal if it is weeping. If the pump housing is cracked, replace the circulation pump assembly.
- Check door seal: Also inspect the door gasket and lower door seal for tears that could allow water into the base.
- Reset and test: Once the leak is fixed and the base is completely dry, restore power and run a full cycle to confirm E07 does not return.
