• Inspect inlet hose routing: Pull the dishwasher out slightly and ensure the Hoover inlet hose is not sharply bent or trapped behind cabinets.
• Clean inlet filter: Unscrew the hose from the dishwasher and remove the small mesh filter from the valve. Rinse thoroughly and reinstall.
• Test inlet valve coil: With power off and wires disconnected, measure resistance across the valve coil. An open circuit indicates a failed valve that must be replaced.
• Replace inlet valve: If defective, install a new water inlet valve, ensuring all seals and clamps are secure to prevent leaks.
