Possible Causes
Faulty motor tachometer sensor,Defective circulation pump,Loose connector at pump,Control board motor drive fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power and water.
- Observe operation: Start a cycle and listen. If the pump starts then stops repeatedly before A11 appears, the control may be losing speed feedback.
- Access the pump: Remove the bottom panel and locate the circulation pump. Identify the tachometer or Hall sensor connector on the motor.
- Check connections: Ensure the tachometer wiring plug is fully seated and not corroded.
- Test tachometer: With a multimeter set to resistance, measure across the tachometer terminals. Compare to service specs; an open circuit indicates failure.
- Inspect harness to control board: Check continuity of the wires from the pump to the main PCB.
If the tachometer or pump is faulty, replace the circulation pump assembly. Control board faults should be handled by a professional.
