Dishwasher door will not latch or pops open during the wash cycle.

Safety first: Turn off power to avoid accidental start while adjusting the door.

• Inspect latch and strike: Check the metal or plastic latch on the door and the strike on the cabinet frame. Look for wear, cracks, or bending.
• Tighten screws: Tighten the mounting screws for the latch, strike, and hinges. Loose screws can cause misalignment.
• Adjust strike position: Slightly loosen the strike screws and adjust its position so the door closes firmly and the latch engages fully, then retighten.
• Replace worn latch: If the latch hook is rounded or broken, replace the door lock/latch assembly with a compatible Iberna part.

A properly aligned door should close smoothly and stay shut throughout the cycle.
