• Check spray arms: Ensure spray arms rotate freely and are not striking tall items. Adjust loading or remove obstructing items.
• Inspect sump: Remove filters and look for foreign objects (glass, bones, seeds) in the sump. Remove carefully with pliers.
• Access pumps: If noise persists, remove the base panel and inspect both circulation and drain pumps. Check impellers for damage or trapped debris.
• Replace noisy pump: If a pump is excessively loud even when clear, its bearings may be worn. Replace the pump assembly.

Operating with foreign objects in the pump can cause further damage; address noises promptly.
