Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher or switch off the circuit breaker and close the water supply tap before working on the appliance.
- Check water supply tap: Ensure the under-sink water tap feeding the Ikea dishwasher is fully open. Verify other taps in the house have normal pressure.
- Inspect inlet hose: Pull the dishwasher out slightly and check that the blue or grey inlet hose is not kinked or crushed behind the cabinet.
- Clean inlet filter: Turn off water, unscrew the inlet hose from the rear of the dishwasher. Inside the valve connection there is a small mesh filter. Remove it carefully with pliers, rinse under running water, and reinstall.
- Check for low pressure: If water trickles from the supply line, contact a plumber to resolve low pressure before using the dishwasher.
- Test fill: Restore power and water, then run a quick program. If i10 returns, the water inlet valve assembly is likely faulty and should be replaced.
If you are not comfortable pulling the dishwasher out or working with plumbing connections, contact a qualified technician.
