Dishwasher is very noisy during operation; grinding, rattling, or humming sounds are heard.

Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the base or pumps.

• Check spray arms: Ensure spray arms rotate freely and are not striking tall dishes or cutlery.
• Inspect sump: Remove filters and look for foreign objects (glass, bones, screws) that may contact the pump impeller.
• Drain pump check: Access the drain pump and inspect the impeller for debris. Remove any obstructions.
• Circulation pump bearings: If a loud grinding persists, the circulation pump bearings may be worn. Replacement of the pump assembly is usually required.
• Mounting and insulation: Verify that the dishwasher is level and that side mounting brackets and anti-vibration pads are correctly installed.
