• Inspect for debris: Disconnect the hose and valve outlet. Check for grit or scale lodged in the valve seat. In most cases, replacement is more reliable than cleaning.
• Replace valve: Install a new Ilve water inlet valve, ensuring seals are correctly positioned and connections are tight.
• If water only flows with power on: The control board may be continuously energizing the valve due to a relay fault. In this case, replace the main control board after confirming wiring is correct.
