Safety first: Turn off power and water before disconnecting hoses.

Check water level: After filling, open the door. Water should typically reach just below the bottom of the door filter area. If it is much lower, E8 is likely due to low fill.
Clean inlet filters: Disconnect the inlet hose from the tap and dishwasher. Clean the mesh filters thoroughly.
Verify supply pressure: Ensure other taps in the house have good flow. If pressure is low, consult a plumber.
Inspect pressure switch and hose: Remove side panel, locate the pressure switch and its hose. Clean any sludge from the hose and pressure chamber. A misreading switch can signal full level too early.
Check flow meter: If fitted, ensure the flow meter is not partially blocked and wiring is intact.
Component replacement: If cleaning does not resolve the issue, replace the pressure switch or flow meter as indicated by testing.
