Dishwasher door will not latch or pops open during cycle.

Safety: Unplug the dishwasher before adjusting mechanical parts.

Inspect latch and strike:

• Check the metal or plastic strike on the tub for bending or looseness; tighten screws if needed.
• Inspect the door latch mechanism for wear or broken plastic.

Adjust alignment:

• Loosen the strike screws slightly and adjust its position so the latch engages firmly when the door is closed.
• Retighten and test door closure several times.

If the latch is worn or cracked, replace the door lock assembly with the correct Indesit part.
