Possible Causes
Leak from sump gasket, Leak from circulation pump seal, Split or loose drain hose, Overfoaming due to incorrect detergent causing overflow into base
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Switch off and unplug the dishwasher, and close the water tap.
Clear the alarm:
- Pull the dishwasher out and tilt it backwards to drain water from the base tray as described for F15.
- Allow the float switch to reset, then stand the machine upright.
Find and fix the leak:
- Remove the lower panels and visually inspect while running a brief fill (only if you are competent to work around live equipment).
- Check the sump perimeter seal, pump seals, and all hose joints for drips.
- Inspect the door gasket and lower door spray barrier for signs of water trails.
Detergent check:
- If excessive foam is present, ensure you are using dishwasher‑specific detergent and rinse aid, not hand‑washing liquid.
Once the leak source is repaired and the base is dry, AL01 should clear on the next cycle.
