Safety first: Disconnect power. Keep hands clear of conveyor components; pinch points are present.

Check for jams: Inspect the conveyor track and entrance/exit for jammed racks, utensils, or debris. Clear any obstructions.
Inspect conveyor chain and sprockets: Look for broken or derailed chain links. Re-seat the chain on sprockets or replace damaged sections.
Reset overload: Locate the conveyor motor overload relay and reset it. Investigate cause if it trips repeatedly.
Test conveyor motor: Measure motor winding resistance and check for shorts. Replace the motor if defective.

After repair, run the conveyor without racks to verify smooth operation before returning to normal use.
