Possible Causes
Debris on fill valve seat, Worn fill valve diaphragm, Excessive inlet pressure, Incorrect or non-OEM fill valve installed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Shut off the water supply to the dishwasher and disconnect power.
- Inspect fill valve: Remove the water inlet solenoid valve and inspect the internal seat and diaphragm for debris or wear. Clean if lightly contaminated.
- Replace valve if worn: If the diaphragm is cracked or the seat is damaged, install a new Jackson-specified fill valve.
- Check inlet pressure: Measure water pressure; if excessively high, install a pressure regulator to protect the valve.
After replacement, leave the machine off with water supply on and verify that no water seeps into the tank.
