Jackson dishwasher will not start; no lights or display, machine appears completely dead.

Safety first: Only qualified personnel should work on high-voltage circuits. Lock out/tag out the breaker before opening electrical panels.

• Check building breaker: Verify that the circuit breaker feeding the dishwasher is not tripped. Reset if necessary and observe for immediate re-trip (which indicates a fault).
• Inspect main power switch: Confirm that the dishwasher’s ON/OFF or disconnect switch is in the ON position and functioning. Test continuity across the switch terminals when ON.
• Check internal fuses: Open the control box and inspect any line or control fuses. Replace blown fuses only after identifying and correcting the cause.
• Verify terminal connections: Tighten all incoming power lugs and neutral/ground connections. Look for signs of overheating or arcing.

If power is present at the control board but the display remains blank, the control board or display module may be defective and require replacement.
