How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing the inner door panel.
- Dry and clean: Wipe the control panel surface and ensure it is dry. Avoid spraying cleaners directly on the panel.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the inner door panel and check the ribbon cable between the UI and main control. Reseat it firmly.
- Check for corrosion: Look for signs of moisture or corrosion on the UI board. If present, the UI assembly should be replaced.
- Replace UI: If specific buttons consistently fail, replace the user interface control panel with the correct JennAir part.
Note: Excessive steam from a faulty vent can accelerate UI failure; address vent issues as well.
