Possible Causes
Blocked dispenser door, Weak water spray, Faulty dispenser latch or wax motor, Overloaded lower rack blocking spray
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before inspecting the dispenser mechanism with tools.
- Check for obstructions: Ensure large dishes, pans, or utensils are not blocking the dispenser door from opening fully.
- Spray arm cleaning: Clean the lower and middle spray arms to ensure strong water jets reach the dispenser area.
- Dispenser test: Start a cycle and observe whether the dispenser door opens during the wash. If it does not, the dispenser assembly or its actuator may be faulty and require replacement.
- Use proper detergent: Use fresh, dry detergent and store pods in a cool, dry place to prevent clumping.
Tip: Avoid placing tall items directly in front of the dispenser on the lower rack.
