Possible Causes
Heater not energizing, No rinse aid, Vent not opening, Low final rinse temperature
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before testing heater or vent components.
- Use rinse aid: Fill the rinse aid dispenser and adjust to a higher setting if spotting or wet dishes persist.
- Run hot water first: Ensure hot water is at the tap before starting the dishwasher to improve final rinse temperature.
- Check vent: Confirm the vent is not blocked and that steam is exiting during the dry phase. Clean the vent area.
- Heater check: If dishes are stone-cold at the end, test the heating element and high-limit thermostat for continuity and replace if faulty.
Note: Plastic items typically do not dry as well as glass or ceramic; this is normal to some extent.
