Possible Causes
Stuck water inlet valve, Faulty overfill float switch, Blocked pressure hose, Control board not shutting off fill
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Immediately turn off power and water supply to prevent flooding.
- Check float movement: Verify the tub float moves freely and is not jammed by utensils or debris. Clean around the float.
- Test float switch: With power off, access the float switch under the tub and test for proper operation with a multimeter. Replace if it does not open when the float is raised.
- Inspect inlet valve: If water continues to enter even with power off, the inlet valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced immediately.
- Pressure system: If equipped, inspect the pressure hose and sensor for blockages or damage and replace as needed.
Note: After repairs, dry any water from the base pan and reset the safety float if present.
