Possible Causes
Clogged wash arms, Dirty tank filters and sump, Worn wash pump impeller, Incorrect detergent type or concentration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing internal components.
- 1. Clean filters: Remove all tank filters and the sump strainer. Rinse thoroughly to remove grease and food particles.
- 2. Clean wash arms: Remove upper and lower spray arms. Clear all jets with a brush or toothpick and flush with hot water.
- 3. Check loading practices: Ensure racks are not overloaded and that large items do not block the spray arms from rotating.
- 4. Verify detergent: Use only Jet Tech-approved commercial dishwasher detergent and adjust dosing according to water hardness and soil level.
- 5. Evaluate pump performance: If cleaning remains poor after cleaning and correct detergent use, the wash pump impeller may be worn and require replacement.
- When to call a technician: If the circulation pump is noisy or weak, have a technician test pressure and replace components as needed.
