Possible Causes
Stuck keypad button, Moisture in control panel, Failed user interface board, Loose ribbon cable between UI and main control
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before opening the control panel.
- Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually to feel for sticking. Wipe the panel with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Inspect for moisture: Remove the inner door panel to access the control area. Look for signs of condensation or water intrusion. Dry the area completely and identify any door gasket leaks.
- Reseat ribbon cable: Disconnect and reconnect the flat ribbon cable between the user interface and main control board to ensure a solid connection.
- Replace UI board if needed: If specific buttons do not respond or F10 persists, replace the user interface control panel assembly.
If a new UI does not resolve the issue, the main control board may be defective.
