Possible Causes
Leak from circulation pump seal, Leak from door gasket, Cracked sump or tub, Loose hose clamp
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and water supply immediately to prevent further leaking.
- Remove toe-kick and inspect base: Use a flashlight to look for water in the base pan. Soak up all water with towels or a sponge.
- Identify leak source: Run a short fill cycle while watching the underside (use caution around live components). Look for drips from hoses, pump seals, sump, or door area.
- Tighten or replace clamps: If a hose connection is leaking, tighten the clamp or replace the hose/clamp as needed.
- Inspect door gasket: Check for tears, flattening, or debris on the door gasket. Clean or replace the gasket if it’s damaged.
After fixing the leak and drying the base, reset the unit by disconnecting power for several minutes. If F30 returns with a dry base, test or replace the base float switch.
