KitchenAid Improper Leveling or Loose Mounting

Dishwasher vibrates excessively or moves in the cabinet during operation.

Possible Causes

Dishwasher not leveled front-to-back or side-to-side, loose leveling feet, missing or loose mounting screws, cabinet opening too wide

Safety First: Turn off power before adjusting the unit.

Level the dishwasher:

Open the door and place a level on the front edge of the tub.
Adjust the front leveling feet with a wrench until the unit is level side-to-side and front-to-back.

Secure mounting:

Check that the top or side mounting brackets are firmly screwed into the countertop or cabinet.
Add shims at the sides if the opening is too wide, then secure the brackets.
