Low Wash Pressure / Partially Blocked Sump
Dishwasher fills but water pressure to spray arms is low; spray arms may not spin; dishes on upper rack remain dirty.

Possible Causes
Clogged sump filter, debris in circulation pump inlet, partially blocked spray arm jets, weak circulation pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off power before removing internal components.
Clean filters and sump:
- Remove the lower rack, lower spray arm, and the fine and coarse filters from the bottom of the tub.
- Rinse filters under warm water and scrub off grease and food particles.
- Inspect the sump opening for debris (seeds, glass, labels). Remove carefully.
Clean spray arms:
- Remove upper and lower spray arms (they usually twist off or are held by a single screw).
- Rinse under water and use a toothpick or small wire to clear clogged jets.
Reassemble and test:
- Reinstall all parts and run a cycle. If pressure is still low, the circulation pump may be worn and require replacement.
