Possible Causes
Worn door latch switch, loose door latch mounting, warped door or tub causing poor contact, damaged wiring to door switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Disconnect power before working on the door.
Mechanical checks:
- Verify the door closes firmly and does not bounce back. Adjust leveling feet to ensure the tub is not twisted.
- Inspect the latch strike on the tub for bending or wear; adjust slightly if needed so the latch engages fully.
Electrical checks:
- Access the door latch as in F5E1 and inspect the switch and wiring harness.
- Look for loose connectors or broken wires where they flex at the top of the door.
- If the switch shows signs of arcing or intermittent operation, replace the latch assembly.
