Possible Causes
Partially failed heating element, scaled element reducing efficiency, faulty thermistor reading, low incoming water temperature
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off power before testing components.
Check incoming water:
- Run hot water at the kitchen sink until it is fully hot (120°F recommended) before starting the dishwasher.
Inspect and descale:
- Inspect the heater for heavy mineral buildup. If present, run a dishwasher cleaner or descaler according to product instructions.
Component testing:
- If the error persists, test the heating element and thermistor as described in F7E1 and F3E1. Replace any out-of-spec parts.
