Dishwasher does not drain completely; small pool of dirty water remains in the bottom after cycle.

Safety first: Turn off power before removing filters or hoses.

• Clean filters: Remove and thoroughly clean the filter assembly and sump area.
• Check drain hose: Ensure the drain hose has a proper high loop and is not kinked. Disconnect from the sink drain and flush with water to clear partial blockages.
• Run a drain-only cycle: Use the cancel/drain function to see if water is fully removed. If not, the drain pump may be weak and need replacement.

A very small amount of clean water in the sump is normal, but dirty standing water is not.
