Possible Causes
Tripped breaker, Loose power connection, Faulty door switch, Failed main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Before opening any panels, turn off the breaker.
- Check power source: Verify the circuit breaker is ON and not tripped. Test the outlet (if corded) with another appliance.
- Inspect junction box: Remove the lower front kick panel and open the junction box. Ensure wire nuts or terminal screws are tight and wires are not burned.
- Check door switch: If the display is dark but power is present, the door switch may not be closing. Test continuity with the door latched.
If power and door switch are good but the unit remains dead, the main control board is likely faulty and should be replaced.
