How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before adjusting the latch.
- Check door closure: Ensure racks are fully pushed in and nothing is blocking the door.
- Inspect latch: Open the door and inspect the door latch assembly at the top. Tighten any loose mounting screws.
- Adjust strike: At the top of the tub, adjust the door strike (metal catch) slightly forward or backward so the latch engages firmly.
- Test door switch: With power off, remove the inner door panel and test continuity of the door switch when the latch is closed. Replace if faulty.
If dE persists with a good latch and switch, the main control board may not be reading the door signal correctly.
