Possible Causes
Household power outage, Loose power connection, Tripped breaker, Faulty power cord or terminal block
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Before touching wiring, ensure the breaker is off.
- Check household power: Verify that other appliances and lights on the same circuit are working. Reset the circuit breaker if tripped.
- Inspect power cord/connection: Remove the lower front kick panel and locate the junction box or terminal block. Check that wire nuts or terminal screws are tight and that there are no burned or melted wires.
- Restart cycle: After confirming stable power, turn the breaker off for 1 minute, then back on. Start a new cycle and monitor for recurrence.
If PF appears repeatedly without actual power loss, the main control board may be misdetecting power interruptions and could require replacement.
