Possible Causes
Water inlet valve not closing fully, Backflow from sink drain, Siphoning due to low drain hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and close the water supply valve.
- Check for backflow: Ensure the drain hose has a proper high loop or air gap to prevent sink water from flowing back into the dishwasher.
- Test inlet valve: With water supply OFF, bail out the tub completely. Turn water supply ON without running a cycle. If water slowly appears in the tub, the water inlet valve is leaking internally and must be replaced.
