Possible Causes
Clogged spray arms, Dirty filters and sump, Low water level due to inlet valve issue, Weak circulation pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off power before removing internal parts.
Steps:
- Clean filters: Remove and thoroughly clean the coarse and fine filters under the lower spray arm.
- Clean spray arms: Remove upper and lower spray arms. Rinse and clear all jets with a toothpick.
- Check water level: After fill, open the door. Water should cover the filter area but not reach the bottom of the door. If low, inspect the inlet valve.
- Use proper detergent: Use fresh, high-quality dishwasher detergent and ensure rinse aid is filled.
- Inspect circulation pump: If cleaning does not improve performance, the circulation pump may be weak and require replacement.
