Steps:

• Check breaker and outlet: Verify the dishwasher's breaker is ON and not tripped. Reset if necessary. If the dishwasher is cord-connected, test the outlet with another appliance.
• Inspect junction box: Remove the toe kick and open the dishwasher's junction box (usually on the right underside). Check for loose wire nuts or burned connections. Re-secure connections with proper wire nuts.
• Door latch check: Ensure the door closes firmly. A failed door switch can prevent power to the control; test and replace the latch assembly if needed.
• Control board: If power is present at the junction box but the control is dead, the main control board or user interface may be faulty and require replacement.
