How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Disconnect power and water before servicing.
Steps:
- Clean filters and sump: Remove lower rack, spray arm, and filter assembly. Thoroughly clean the fine and coarse filters and the sump inlet.
- Check spray arms: Remove and rinse spray arms under running water. Use a toothpick to clear clogged jets.
- Inspect impeller: Access the circulation pump from below. Remove the pump cover (if serviceable) and check for food, glass, or labels wrapped around the impeller.
- Check for smooth rotation: Manually spin the impeller; it should turn freely without grinding.
- Replace pump if needed: If the impeller is damaged or the motor is stiff, replace the circulation pump and motor assembly.
