Safety first: Before opening control panels, disconnect power at the main disconnect.

• Confirm power and indicators: Check that the main power switch is on and that any indicator lights on the control panel are illuminated.
• Verify door closure: Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. Listen for the click of the door switch. Adjust or replace the door interlock if necessary.
• Check emergency stop: If the machine has an emergency stop button, ensure it is released. Reset according to Meiko instructions.
• Inspect control fuses: Open the control cabinet and check low-voltage and control fuses. Replace any blown fuses with the correct rating and investigate the cause of failure.
• Test start button: Use a multimeter to verify that the start button or touch panel sends a signal when pressed. Replace the user interface PCB if the button is defective.
