Possible Causes
Partially closed building water valve, Clogged inlet strainer, Undersized or restricted supply line, Faulty flow meter
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and close the water supply before disconnecting any plumbing.
- Check building water pressure: Confirm that the supply pressure meets Meiko’s minimum specification (often around 2–4 bar). If pressure is low, consult a plumber or building maintenance.
- Fully open shutoff valves: Ensure all isolation valves feeding the dishwasher are fully open. Partially closed valves are a common cause of E10.
- Clean inlet strainer: Remove the water inlet hose and clean the mesh strainer at the machine connection. Remove rust, sand, and scale with a soft brush.
- Inspect supply line: Check for kinks, flattened hoses, or undersized piping. Replace with the correct diameter hose or pipe as specified by Meiko.
- Test flow meter: If fitted, inspect the flow meter for debris and verify that its impeller spins freely. Check electrical connections. Replace the flow meter if it does not register flow correctly in service diagnostics.
- Retest: Restore water and power, then run a cycle. If E10 persists despite good pressure and clean filters, further control system diagnostics are needed.
