Possible Causes

Water leak into base tray, Faulty leak float switch, Loose hose connection, Cracked tank or pump housing

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water supply. Be prepared for water when removing panels.

  • Inspect base tray: Remove the front or side panel to access the base. Check for standing water and the position of the leak float switch.
  • Dry the base: Carefully sponge or vacuum out all water from the base tray. Reset the float switch to its normal position.
  • Locate the leak source: Examine all hoses, clamps, pump housings, and the tank perimeter for signs of dripping or mineral trails. Pay attention to the rinse and detergent injection points.
  • Tighten and replace components: Tighten loose hose clamps, replace cracked hoses, and repair or replace any leaking pump seals or tank gaskets.
  • Test under operation: With panels still off, restore power and water, then run a short cycle while observing for leaks. Shut down immediately if water reappears in the base.
  • Replace float switch if faulty: If the float switch remains triggered even when dry, replace the leak sensor.
