Water remains in the tank overnight when it should have drained completely.

• Check drain hose routing: Ensure the hose has a proper high loop or air break as specified by Meiko to prevent backflow from the building drain.
• Clean drain line: Disconnect and flush the drain hose to remove grease and debris. Clean any external air gap or trap.
• Inspect non-return valve: Locate the check valve near the drain pump outlet. Remove and clean or replace if it does not close properly.
• Verify drain height: Confirm that the building drain connection is at the correct height relative to the machine outlet to allow gravity drainage.
