Safety: Disconnect power and close water supply.

• Inspect intake path: Remove side panel to access the water intake chamber and flow meter (often integrated in the water softener or side water matrix).
• Clean chamber: Look for heavy limescale or debris in the flow channels. Rinse with warm water and, if needed, soak removable parts in descaler (avoid rubber seals).
• Check wiring: Ensure the small harness from the flow meter to the control board is intact and firmly connected.
• Replace sensor: If cleaning and wiring checks do not resolve the issue, replace the flow meter or the entire water intake module as specified for your Miele model.
