Possible Causes
Open-circuit drain pump motor, Burnt pump winding, Loose or corroded pump connector, Control board pump driver fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and close the water tap.
- Access drain pump: Lay the dishwasher on its back and remove the bottom panel to reach the drain pump.
- Check connector: Ensure the electrical connector is firmly attached and free of corrosion.
- Measure resistance: Disconnect the pump and measure coil resistance with a multimeter. An open circuit indicates a failed pump.
- Inspect for burning: Look for burnt smell or discoloration on the pump body.
- Replace pump: If the pump is electrically faulty, install a new drain pump compatible with your Mora model. If the pump tests good, the control board may be defective and require professional diagnosis.
