Possible Causes
Faulty turbidity sensor, Dirty or scaled sensor window, Wiring harness issue to sensor, Control board sensor circuit fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher before removing any internal components.
- Run a cleaning cycle: First, run an empty hot cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar in the bottom to remove grease and limescale that can affect the sensor.
- Locate the turbidity sensor: On many Mora dishwashers, the turbidity sensor is mounted in the sump or on the side of the tub as a small plastic module with a clear window.
- Clean the sensor: Remove the sensor according to the service manual or by releasing its locking tabs. Gently clean the optical window with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Do not scratch the surface.
- Inspect wiring: Check the connector and wiring harness for corrosion or damage. Reseat the connector firmly.
- Reinstall and test: Refit the sensor, restore power, and run a test cycle. If E6 returns, the sensor or control board may need replacement.
