Possible Causes
Defective flow meter in inlet assembly, Blocked flow meter rotor, Loose or damaged wiring to flow sensor, Control board misreading pulses
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap before removing the inlet hose or side panels.
- Check inlet filters and hose: Remove and clean the mesh filters at the tap and at the dishwasher inlet. Debris can jam the flow meter rotor.
- Access the flow meter: On many Mora models, the flow meter is integrated into the water inlet assembly or side water distribution chamber. Remove the side panel to locate it.
- Inspect and clean: Detach the flow meter housing if possible and check that the internal rotor spins freely. Rinse out any grit or scale.
- Check wiring: Ensure the small connector from the flow meter to the main harness is secure and not corroded.
- Test operation: Reassemble, restore power and water, and run a short cycle. If E7 persists, the flow meter module likely needs replacement.
