Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and close the water tap.
E05 typically indicates the control cannot correctly detect the water level.
- Check water supply first: Ensure the water tap is fully open and the inlet hose is not kinked. Clean the inlet filter at the Aquastop or hose connection.
- Clean filters and sump: Remove the bottom filters and inspect the sump area for grease, food debris, or foreign objects that could block the pressure chamber.
- Access pressure system: Remove the side panel (often left side) to access the pressure chamber / air trap and pressure hose. Detach the hose and blow through it; it should be clear.
- Clean pressure chamber: If the chamber is full of sludge or limescale, remove and rinse it thoroughly with hot water and a descaling solution.
- Check pressure switch/sensor: Locate the pressure switch or analog pressure sensor (often mounted on the side or base). Inspect the connector and wiring. If the sensor rattles, is waterlogged, or shows visible damage, replace it.
Reassemble, restore power and water, and run a test cycle. If E05 persists, the pressure sensor or control board may need professional diagnosis.
