Possible Causes

Blocked ventilation duct, Faulty drying fan motor, Stuck air flap in heat exchanger, Wiring fault to fan assembly

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect mains power before accessing side panels or the door top area.

E07 is often associated with the drying system and ventilation on Neff dishwashers.

  • Check for obvious blockages: Inspect the interior vent outlet (usually on the top or side of the tub) for obstructions such as plastic film or utensils.
  • Access drying fan: On many models, the drying fan assembly is located behind the door panel or on the side near the heat exchanger. Remove the appropriate panel to access it.
  • Inspect fan and flap: Check that the fan impeller spins freely by hand and that any air flap or damper moves without sticking. Clean away lint, grease, or debris.
  • Electrical checks: Verify the fan connector is secure. Measure resistance of the fan motor; an open circuit indicates a failed motor. Check wiring back to the control module.
  • Replace faulty components: If the fan is seized or electrically open, replace the Neff drying fan motor assembly. If the flap mechanism is broken, replace the vent flap / duct assembly.

Reassemble and run a drying-intensive program to confirm that E07 does not reappear.
