Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power and water supply before inspection.
E08 indicates that the water level is too low for proper operation.
- Check installation: Ensure the drain hose is installed at the correct height (usually 40–100 cm above floor) and not inserted too far into the standpipe, which can cause siphoning.
- Verify water pressure: Open the water tap fully. Disconnect the inlet hose and check the small filter at the Aquastop or hose end; clean any debris.
- Inspect heat exchanger: Remove the left side panel and inspect the heat exchanger / water matrix for heavy limescale or blockages. Flush with hot water and descaler.
- Check circulation pump: Access the base and inspect the circulation pump. Listen during operation: if it hums but water barely sprays, the impeller may be damaged or obstructed.
- Replace parts if needed: Replace a weak inlet valve / Aquastop hose if fill is slow. Replace the circulation pump if it cannot maintain pressure.
After corrections, run a test cycle and observe that the water level reaches just below the door seal and that spray arms rotate strongly.
