Possible Causes
Partially blocked inlet filter, Weak Aquastop valve, Low household water pressure, Kinked or crushed inlet hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Close the water tap and disconnect power.
E18 indicates that the dishwasher did not receive enough water within the expected time.
- Clean inlet filter: Unscrew the inlet hose from the tap and clean the small mesh filter. Also check for debris at the Aquastop end.
- Check hose routing: Ensure the inlet hose is not kinked or crushed behind the dishwasher.
- Verify water pressure: Open the tap into a bucket and confirm a strong flow. If pressure is low, consult a plumber.
- Test Aquastop valve: If flow from the tap is good but fill into the dishwasher is slow, the Aquastop inlet valve may be weak or partially blocked. Replace the Aquastop hose assembly if cleaning does not improve flow.
After repair, run a quick wash and confirm that the water level reaches just below the door seal.
