Dishwasher shows E22; water may not drain fully and filters may be dirty.

Safety: Turn off power before reaching into the sump area.

E22 is usually a user-serviceable blockage issue.

• Clean filters: Remove the bottom rack. Twist and lift out the coarse and fine filters. Rinse thoroughly under hot water, scrubbing away grease and food particles.
• Inspect sump: Look into the sump opening with a torch. Remove any bones, glass, or food debris with a spoon or gloved hand.
• Check drain inlet: Locate the small opening where water enters the drain pump. Ensure it is clear.
• Run rinse cycle: After cleaning, run a short rinse program to flush remaining debris.

Regular filter cleaning (weekly in heavy use) will prevent E22 from recurring.
