Dishwasher shows E25; drain pump may make noise but water does not drain properly.

Safety: Disconnect power before reaching into the sump or removing the pump.

E25 often indicates a blockage at the drain pump itself.

• Access pump cover: Remove the filters and look for the drain pump cover in the sump (often a plastic cover that twists out). Remove it and check for debris.
• Clear obstructions: Remove any glass, bones, or foreign objects from the pump area.
• Check impeller: Gently turn the impeller with a finger or tool; it should move freely.
• Re-seat cover: Ensure the pump cover is correctly aligned and locked in place; an incorrectly fitted cover can cause E25.
• Deeper inspection: If E25 persists, remove the base panel and detach the drain pump for a full inspection and cleaning. Replace the pump if the impeller is damaged.
