Possible Causes
Scale buildup on heater, Insufficient water level over heater, Faulty NTC sensor misreading temperature, Stuck heater relay
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the unit to cool before inspection.
- Check water level: Start a cycle and open the door after filling (machine paused). Water should cover the filter area adequately. If low, investigate inlet and level sensor issues.
- Descale dishwasher: Run an empty hot cycle with a dishwasher descaler suitable for Panasonic machines to remove limescale from the heater and tub.
- Inspect NTC sensor: Access the NTC at the sump or heater housing and verify it is firmly seated and not coated with heavy scale. Clean gently if needed.
- Reset error: After descaling and checks, disconnect power for 5 minutes, then retry a cycle.
If H25 persists, the heater control circuit or NTC may be faulty and should be tested and replaced by a technician.
