Dishwasher displays U01 and will not start selected program

Safety first: Ensure the door is supported when adjusting hinges or springs.

• Remove obstructions: Check that upper and lower racks are fully pushed in and that large pans or utensils are not protruding and hitting the door.
• Close door firmly: Push the door until you hear a clear click from the latch. Do not slam.
• Inspect hinges and springs: If the door feels loose or does not stay in position, inspect the side springs and cables (accessed from side panels) and replace if broken.

If U01 persists with the door clearly closed, the door switch or latch assembly may be faulty.
