Dishwasher displays U18 and beeps near the end of cycle, dishes may be wet

Safety first: Disconnect power before working on drainage.

• Clean filters and sump: Remove filters and clean grease and food residue from the sump.
• Flush drain hose: Disconnect the hose from the sink and flush with hot water to remove grease buildup.
• Check sink drain speed: Run water in the sink and ensure it drains quickly. Clear any blockage if slow.

If U18 continues, the drain pump may be partially failing and should be tested or replaced.
